Ronald Joseph Mire, departed this life peacefully on February 15, 2017.  He was surrounded by his loving family.  He was born February 13, 1945, New Orleans, LA.  He is predeceased by his special angel and loving wife, Linda C. Scallan Mire; mother, Josephine Peranio; father, John F. Mire; and his brother, Ricky G. Mire. Loving father of Jodi A. Mire (Kimberley), Julie Mire Bernard (Brandon), and Randy J. Mire (Kanoa Jo).  Beloved Grandfather of Caci (Chris), Chad (Lauren), Cali, Jacob, Joshua, Randy (RJ), Linnea and  great grandchildren, Layla and Kaisley.  Also survived by his brother Gerald J. Mire, Sr., and a host of nieces, nephews, wonderful friends, and family members.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral Mass at the Garden of Memories Funeral Home, 4900 Airline Drive, in Metairie, LA, on Monday, February 20, 2017, at 1:00 pm and the visitation will begin at 11:00 am until Mass time.  Interment will follow in the Garden of Memories Cemetery.  Online condolences may be offered at www.gardenofmemoriesmetairie.com
