Michael Phillip Bourgeois passed away on Tuesday, February 6, 2018 at the age of 40. He is survived by his wife, Janeen Rioux Bourgeois; his parents, Billy and Barbara Bourgeois; his godson and nephew, Nicholas Vassallo; his niece, Sabrina Vassallo and his great niece, Lily Vassallo. He is also survived by a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and close friends. He was preceded in death by his sister, Sherrie Ridge. Mike was a compassionate person with a big heart and contagious smile who will be sadly missed.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Memorial Service at 2:00 pm on Friday, February 16, 2018 at Garden of Memories Funeral Home, 4900 Airline Drive in Metairie. Visitation will begin at 12:00 pm. Interment will be at a later date in Garden of Memories Cemetery.
