Martina “Tiny” Gambino, 96, died Monday, February 5, 2018. She was a native of Bordeleonville, former resident of Madisonville, and a resident of LaPlace.
Martina was the wife of the late Michel J. Gambino, Jr., and the mother of Michel J. Gambino, III, Carol Lyles (Kenny), Sal Gambino (Danielle) and Suzy Montalbano (Joe). She was the daughter of the late, Eloise and Edward Maillet, Sr. She is survived by her sister, Carmel; brother, Clifford; 10 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by 1 grandchild and 7 brothers and sisters.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, February 9, 2018, at Garden of Memories Funeral Home, 4900 Airline Dr. in Metairie, LA. Visitation will begin at 10:00 a.m., with a Catholic Mass to follow at 11:00 a.m. interment will follow at Greenwood Cemetery in New Orleans, LA.
