Maizie Gremillion Marks passed away peacefully on Tuesday, February 7, 2017 at the age of 77. Beloved wife for 58 years to Ronald Warren Marks. Loving mother of Scott Marks (Alysoun), Rhonda Saylor, and the late Julie Marks. Grandmother of Vincent Saylor (Brittany), Nicole LeBlanc (Drew), and Michele Marks. Great-grandmother of Emrie LeBlanc and Marlee Saylor. Daughter of the late Dallas Gremillion and Audrey Dupont Gremillion. Sister of Martha Hoegler (late, Richard) and Denise Gremillion.
Maizie was a native of Bunkie, LA and resident of Metairie, LA for 52 years. She was a longtime parishioner of St. Benilde Catholic Church.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral Mass at St. Benilde Catholic Church, 1901 Division St. in Metairie, LA on Saturday, February 11, 2017 at 11:00 am. Visitation will be held at the church from 9:00 am until Mass time. Interment will follow Mass in the Garden of Memories Cemetery.
