Captain James Glynn Wilson entered into eternal rest at his mother’s home on Saturday, March 18, 2017. He was preceded in death by his father, Leonard Wilson, Jr. He is survived by his mother, Shirley Edwards, his sisters, Julie Wilson Barrett, Ellen Nudo, and Tammy Gilman, his nephews, Jeremy Wilson, Brandon Garth Barrett, Isaac Mordecai, Daniel Keely, Gio Nudo,and his nieces, Delylah Mordecai, Sophie Nudo, Bella Nudo and his loving companion, Deanna Thibodeaux. James was a native of New Orleans, LA and a longtime resident of Metairie, LA. He was co-owner of Captain Phil Robichaux Fishing Charters and was an avid hunter and enjoyed the Great Outdoors. James was known to his friends and fellow fisherman as the Troutmaster of Lafitte. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Funeral Service on Tuesday, March 21, 2017 at 5:00 pm at the Garden of Memories Funeral Home, 4900 Airline Drive, Metairie, LA and the visitation will begin at 3:00 pm until service time.
