James "Jim" L. Bergeron Sr. entered into eternal rest on Monday, April 24, 2017. He is survived by his 3 children: Colleen Bergeron, Danielle Bergeron, and James L. Bergeron Jr.; his grandchildren, Ashley V. Griffin and James T. Bergeron; and his great-grandchild, Anneliese Halvorson. Also survived by his siblings, Gail Nunez, Sharon Ellex, Jeanette Chantrey, and Lisa Cody, and numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives. He was preceded in death by his parents, Lovide and Eloise Bergeron, and his siblings, Louis Bergeron, Michael Bergeron, and DeeDee Kramer.
Jim was an extraordinary person who was a practical joker with a deep heart. He honorably served his country overseas twice: once with the U.S. Marine Corps and once as a Green Beret with the U.S. Army. He dearly loved his grandchildren and great-grandchild and was so proud of them. Jim would do anything for anyone and will be dearly missed by his family and friends.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Memorial Service on Tuesday, May 2, 2017 at 1:00 pm. Visitation will be held from 12:00 noon until Mass time. Inurnment will be in Garden of Memories Cemetery.
