Anna Belle Basanez Netzhammer, Born May 15, 1933, loving wife of her Emile Conrad
Netzhammer, Jr., passed away October 14, 2017, surrounded by her family in a house filled
with love.
Anna Belle was joyful and happy, a woman devoted to her family, lifelong friends, and spiritual
community. She was a committed humanitarian. She was passionate about nature and wildlife,
loved snorkeling amidst ocean creatures, and traveling with friends and family. Her warmth and
kindness endeared her to so many.
She is survived by her brother, Edward S and Jo Anne Basanez; children Mel Netzhammer and LeeFaver, Mary Sollenberger, Ed and April Netzhammer, Doug Netzhammer and Karen Acosta;
Grandchildren, Kasey and Larame Cummings, Shelby and Anthony Christiana, Noah, Noel, and
Joy Netzhammer, Stefan and Andres Acosta, Ryan and Riley Netzhammer; great
granddaughter Poppy Cummings.
She was preceded in death by her daughter, Andre Lyn Netzhammer and her parents, Florence and Edward Basanez. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Funeral Service on Tuesday, October 17, 20176 at 1:00 pm at the Garden of Memories Funeral Home, 4900 Airline Drive, Metairie, LA and the visitation will begin at 11:00 am until service time.
